Academy of Model Aeronautics

Charter # 633

"Serving Radio-Control Aeromodeling Enthusiasts
in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia
Since 1976"

Are you interested in radio-controlled model aircraft? Do you live in the City of Harrisonburg, in Rockingham County, or in one of the other nearby cities or counties of Virginia or West Virginia? If you do, you're invited to come check us out. Whether your interest lies in sport planes, aerobatic planes, scale models, gliders, or helicopters, you're sure to find others in the club who share the same interest. By joining together, we are able to acquire flying sites, enjoy fly-ins, hold competitions, and provide flight instruction.

If you just enjoy watching we also welcome spectators. Sunday afternoons are the best time to stop by if the weather is good.
